Being a small business, I think it's important to support other businesses along the way! Here are some of my fave products/businesses I use!
Candles
These beautiful Handmade Candles are created by AgaMakesCandles on Etsy.
These are perfect for a unity candle ceremony or a remembrance table with so may designs and florals for your couples to choose from!
Signing Pens
If you're planning on offering decorative certificates for your ceremonies too, I would also invest in a decent pen! Mine is from Han Turned Pens, who I first came across in a market in York. The pen also came in an elegant wooden box. Every pen they make is unique, which makes it extra special for your couples! The rollerball pen I have is amazing for writing with - no worry of smudging & it looks lovely in photos!
Rings
Looking for a display piece for wedding rings? Not everyone wants to keep them in a box these days during the ceremony, they want to have them at the front with their vow cards. I find this gorgeous, handmade dish is great for elopements too. I received this beautiful ring dish from Field House Pottery, a family business, based in Durham.
Sand Ceremonies!
Wedding Ceremony Supplies is ran by a fellow celebrant (North East Celebrant, Gemma). I recently purchased her sand ceremony jars/sand and there were different shapes & a variety of sand colours to choose from too! So nice to support a fellow celebrant's business!
Handfasting cords
I've used The Toad Stool Garden on Etsy a couple of times for handfasting cords now, the quality is amazing and my couples are always so impressed! Lovely array of colours and charms too!
Are there any other businesses I should try? Please let me know as I love to try new suppliers & give people a chance!
Stationery
Obviously, I couldn't leave without mentioning my own business which provides celebrant stationery! The Ink and Foil Studio provides both branded and completely bespoke stationery. I create everything from vow cards, reading cards, decorative certificates, reserved seating signage etc. for couples and celebrants! Below are some of my latest creations!
Love, Meg x
