Wedding items on a table: pearl shoes, perfume, jewelry, and "Save the Date" card for Enya & Anth, 23rd August 2024. Roses in background.

Nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, complemented by golden stretches of beach and the esteemed Royal County Down, lies Slieve Donard, a stunning Victorian venue perfect for a beautiful wedding.

Enya and Anth's wedding day was warm in every sense; the sun shone down on the breathtaking scenery as they celebrated their marriage surrounded by their friends and family.

We loved working with Mr and Mrs Duddin to create their bespoke wedding stationery, and after many ideas, they decided to embrace the theme of the seascape and mountains for their stationery, perfect for their venue location.

Their save-the-dates introduced their guests to their theme from the very start; the watercolour against the oyster shell pearlescent card created a timeless and serene look. For their wedding invites, they enlarged this design and added their RSVP information to the bottom—simple and effective.

Before their big day, we printed the couples order of service and designed a front cover to personalise. Their service was held at the Church of St John the Baptist, which holds a personal connection to Enya and her family, a wonderful service to begin their special day.

Their guests then excitedly moved onto their wedding venue, Slieve Donard, to continue celebrations with a drinks reception.

When designing their wedding welcome sign and seating chart, we utilised the same tranquil seascape/mountain images, adjusting them to ensure the text remained clear and legible.

The combination of the elegant, cursive, and modern fonts created a classic appearance while ensuring that their 150 guests could find their names on the chart.

After locating their assigned table, each guest took their seat, guided by a folded name card in the same oyster shell card as their invitations and table numbers. The couple requested that we include a symbol on these cards to help the wedding team at the Slieve Donard identify everyone's menu selections. After experimenting with various designs, we decided to put the symbols on the back of the cards.

Once everyone found their tables, they listened to heartfelt speeches, ate amazing food, and danced into the early hours of the morning—an unforgettable day!

We are still obsessed with this theme, and it was such a fantastic idea to see it come to life! Bringing the gorgeous, real views of the sea and mountains into their indoor reception space was a brilliant idea, where they joyfully celebrated together in the bride's hometown.

Adding to the personal touches was their request to have cards made for their bridal party and suppliers. Created with gold foil writing to add a classy shimmer, mirroring the sun that was shining on their day.

A couple embracing, facing hills, in a lush garden. One wears a white dress, the other a vest. Mood is serene and romantic.

A stunning day for a kind-hearted couple, congratulations again Mr and Mrs Duddin! x
