Reflecting on an incredible year: 2023 in review, celebrant ceremony ideas.
2023 was an amazing year, I'm extremely grateful to my wonderful couples/families for making it possible. Each and every couple was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we shared many laughs and happy memories together. I enjoyed every moment of each ceremony and they were all so different! Without further delay, here's a brief summary of some of the ceremonies that took place in 2023.
A story about this year,
New couples & celebration!
Each ceremony was so unique;
A very special occasion!
First there was the Crosbys,
Their wedding on good Friday!
My first visit to Runa Farm
For their rustic wedding day.
Their sons as ring bearers,
Ross played his guitar,
Very eventful with beautiful decor,
A poem telling their story so far.
A naming day in May
At the combs lovely, outdoor space.
A perfect belated celebration
With Mum, Dad, Ella and Grace.
Life mentors & beautiful readings
About daughters and family,
Group vows and toasts for loved ones...
A day of pure joy and glee!
Hornington Manor was next,
My sister, the bride-to-be.
In August she walked down the aisle,
24live! singing Tenerife Sea
Candles, Roses and readings,
With Limelight Emporium's beaut decor.
Ink and foil made their stationery,
I guess that’s what sisters are for.
Then we visit The Pumping House
For Mr and Mrs Sloan.
A wedding supplier herself,
My mind was truly blown.
Time capsules & remembrance,
Handwritten vows and readings too.
Puppy Leo even joined at the end...
We can’t say ‘I do’ without you.
Outdoors at Kip and Nook
The Busseys tied the knot.
A ceremony filled with hilarious tales,
One that won’t be forgot.
Tonnes of love and laughter,
Lighthearted and good fun.
Their family certainly got involved,
Their married story has just begun.
Off to Eshott hall in October
For Mr & Mrs Bazin,
A ceremony simply telling their story,
The setting was just amazing.
A stain glass window backdrop,
Their family dogs as guests,
Andrelli's beautiful music,
We wish them all the best!
Mr and Mrs Bell’s turn next,
Filled with readings & rhyming.
Their groomsman, Pete, the photographer
And a decorative certificate signing.
Their puppy as ring bearer,
We launched them into married life.
Pulled the pin for their next chapter,
We’ll call husband and wife.
Lisa & James eloped at Storrs Hall
On a rainy November day.
Under the pavilion, by the lake,
Nothing could get in their way!
An intimate ceremony
With vows written from the heart.
A bespoke poem to reminisce,
As married life was about to start.
Thank you to all of my couples!
Sending all my love to you!
It was honestly a privilege
To be there when you say ‘I do’ x
Love Meg x
