Hey there, I'm Meg! I'm a relaxed, storytelling celebrant offering personalised wedding, vow renewal and naming ceremonies across the North East and Yorkshire!
I bring a bubbly, relaxed approach to ceremony planning. Every ceremony is a collaboration; we work together to create a ceremony which tells your story and suits your personalities and humour!
Whether it's a ceremony filled with handwritten vows and bespoke poetry readings, or one that includes symbolic moments like handfastings, unity candles and sand ceremonies, we'll create a ceremony which you're comfortable with and can look forward to!

As a celebrant and stationery designer, I also create vow and reading cards in-house, focusing on a completely personalised service, from your bespoke wedding ceremony script to your stationery!
I'm based in Sedgfield and cover weddings, vow renewal and naming days in the North East and Yorkshire but I do travel too and love visiting new venues. I am recommended celebrant at Walworth Castle, The Peak Edge Hotel, Hornington Manor, Blackton Grange Estate, Durham Masonic Hall & Whinstone View.

What is a wedding celebrant?
Wedding celebrants write and conduct personalised ceremonies. We get to know you, your story, your beliefs, and your plans for your big day.
You get to choose your celebrant! My ceremony planning style is relaxed, collaborative and fun! You'll be with me throughout your planning whether that be a wedding, vow renewal or naming day for your little one - I treat every family/couple the same!
There are no restrictions when it comes to creating a celebrant ceremony; you can have your ceremony at any time and location.
Plus, you have creative freedom; from surprise ring bearers to handwritten poetry, you can create a ceremony which feels like YOU! Whether you're a romantic pair or a couple who loves joking around, there really is something for everyone!
I don’t just write your ceremony and turn up on the day, I want your input throughout your planning.
Choose personality over legality! Wedding celebrants, unfortunately, aren't legal in England, so you will need to get legally married at the register office... BUT then you get to have your relaxed, storytelling ceremony to look forward to!
